The Industrial Prints

Exploring man-made materials through shellac printing plates, phoebe uses recycled scrap material, glue, varnish, geometry and negative space to question the waste humans produce daily.

In a series of experiments, Phoebe creates abstract patterns through layered industrialised materials such as chicken wire, masking tape, recycled fabric, and emulsion.

Despite the experimental approach, it became an interesting way to explore access and longevity of these materials.
